Hey! Tora here to update you on the goings-on of MTAC (Middle Tennessee Anime Convention) Omega.
Friday I woke up freakishly early and drove to Living's house. Living drove us to the convention after picking up her boyfriend and we proceeded to wait for about 50 minutes for pre-reg to open up and spent the rest of the day wandering. Yay! Living was Lenne and I was Kenshin. We did a small photo shoot for Living's Lenne with the oh so ninja Death by an Asian as our photographer.
Saturday was spent wandering around the con. Again, Living was Lenne and I was Kenshin. We did a photo shoot for my Kenshin attire, and with Death busy at that time, the lovely Living was the photographer. Around four in the afternoon, Living and I changed into rave/punk Sasuke and Sakura, respectively. We had a photo shoot with Death as the photographer, Death's cousin as the director, and with our nameless friend and Death's other cousin as innocent observers. We also attended the Naruto fan panel, but left halfway through (Living was falling asleep).
Sunday we arrived around noon. Living was in her humanoid Pikachu costume. And I skipped out on all forms of costumes.
MTAC was downtown this year, which was awesome because I know my way around all of the places nearby!
I went to the cosplay contest on Saturday to support a friend from school. And Living, her boyfriend, and I attended the J-fashion show. Living and her boyfriend physically exerted themselves in a Zumba panel. I also attended the Cosplay groups panel. Living's boyfriend got a signature / starfish drawing from an ex-power ranger. And we spent lots of time in the dealer room.
This year's con was incredible, and I can only hope that I can attend next year's convention - MTAC Devil's Dozen. Thanks for making it such a great time, everyone!
